Registering a Student
To facilitate a timely and effective registration of your student, please follow the steps below.
Step 1: Prior to Arriving at Yokota
Email the following information to the Principal of YHS (Principal's Email Address )
I - Sponsor Information
a. Name and Rank.
b. Unit you will be assigned to at Yokota and a Unit Contact (for Force Protection measures).
c. Expected date of arrival.
d. Student's Name.
II- Transcripts
Mail, Fax, or email your student's most recent transcript to YHS (Attn: Guidance Counselor).

III-Select Classes
I- Refer to Graduation
Requirements for 2008 to ensure students are placed in classes
they need for the current school year.
II- Identify courses your student would like to take and fill out
the:

III- Email (Principal),
Fax, or send the Course Request Form to YHS (Attn: Guidance Counselors).
IV - Prepare Registration Information
I- Print the Registration
Packet and fill out all required information as explained in
the packet instructions. Keep this packet with you and deliver it
to the school when you meet with a Guidance Counselor as noted in
Step 2 below.
Do
you need to register your child at YHS? If you are moving to our
area, you can actually begin the process now by filling out each
of the forms below . When you arrive, make an appointment with
Mrs. Sanders, guidance counselor, and bring these forms with you.
Things
To Do List
- Download
the forms to the right.
- Fill
out the forms before moving.
- Contact
and make an appointment with the counselor
- Give
the following items to the registrar at least 15
minutes prior to your appointment.
- Up-to-date
transcripts or school records
Shot records
Copy of your orders
All pre-filled out forms
- After
enrolling your child, arrange for school transportation
by getting bus passes/ID's.

Step
2: Once You Arrive at Yokota
I- Schedule an Appointment to Register Your Student
Call the school at 225-7018 (DSN) and schedule an appointment with
a Guidance Counselor.
II- Meet with a Guidance Counselor
Bring the following with you to your appointment:
- PCS Orders
- Student passport or birth certificate
- Shot records
- Official transcript (most recent)
- A completed copy of your Course
Request Form (Word Document) .
- A completed Registration Packet (As mentioned in Section IV above)
