CHEERLEADERS
The cheerleader squad is open to all students in grades 9-12. The squad supports athletic teams during the fall and winter sport seasons. Cheerleaders travel with the football and basketball teams to most away games. They also help boost school spirit and unity during the pep rallies held throughout the school year. Cheerleader tryouts are usually held in the spring and fall.

EXTRA-CURRICULAR ACTIVITIES
Yokota High School has one of the Pacific's most extensive extra-curricular activities programs. In addition to the athletic program, Yokota High School offers a wide variety of school activities. Organizations are formed each year on the basis of their appeal to the students. Some organizations are traditional; others are activated only when there is sufficient student interest. All students are encouraged to take an active part in at least one extra-curricular activity during the school year.

INTERSCHOLASTIC ATHLETICS
Interscholastic athletics are held with Japanese and KPASSP schools in Japan. Students participating in athletics are required to complete a physical examination.

A variety of sports activities are available to young men and women at Yokota High School to extend their physical development, to promote lifelong sports for leisure time, to develop the cooperative spirit of team activities and good sportsmanship, and to promote school spirit.
