In the 21st century, Yokota High School, working in partnership with the family and local community, will provide a safe, academically-inspiring environment in which all students will develop to their maximum potential as life-long learners and responsible participants in an ever-changing global society.

Vision for YHS
Yokota High School's vision is to provide a climate conducive to the enhancement of student learning and fostering of each student's desire to become independent life-long learners through:
Cultivating healthy, creative, and innovative learning,
Preparing students to live and learn in an ever-changing and diverse world,
Ensuring the successful transition of all students from high school to college or to the workplace, in order to help students better serve their community and society and achieve personal fulfillment. We believe the potential for student learning is unlimited, and learning must take place in a nurturing, safe environment that recognizes the diversity of individuals while assuring equity for all.
